HAL Aluminiumguss - artwork

Because they were not allowed to bring a giant pot full of hot, molten metal to the exhibition, HAL Aluminiumguss asked me to build a 3D model of one of their cast parts and let it melt virtually.

Together with Marcus Bätz, a freelance VFX artist from Berlin, I developed this composition of molten and solid metal. It was printed on large-format acrylic glass and became part of the fair stand of the company.
